6) Useful information on billing

If you buy as a private person or as a company, residing in a country of the Schengen area, (other than Germany), therefore belonging to the EU, the invoicing will be issued: net of VAT for companies with Plafond that have an ID number. Instead, it will contain the 19% VAT integrated in the price, for purchases made by private Persons.

For purchases made from Germany with delivery to German addresses, the local commercial billing model will be applied.

7) Useful information on shipping
A leading company in the transport of valuable goods, will be in charge of collection at our headquarters, and direct delivery to
Customer, in one of the countries of the Schengen area, at the address provided by him. This company will take care with all the technological and operational monitoring tools, to perform the delivery of the goods in respect of privacy and security.
The diamond  will be insured  for the  purchase  value.  In case of
loss before delivery, due to accidental and unpredictable events, the Customer may request, at his discretion, an equivalent diamond of the same value, or to have reimbursed the insured sum. In the event of non-delivery, for reasons not attributable to the customer, the diamond will remain in the local warehouse of the aforementioned company. It will initiate further delivery attempts. If, on the other hand, the Customer is no longer able to guarantee receipt, by communicating it in time before the departure of the shipment, the delivery address can be replaced with another, alternative one, which he communicated to us in writing, via email.

8) Information on currency, price and packaging

To provide our customers with adequate valuation parameters, we would like to clarify the following: The "Price Reports" published monthly do not indicate that the prices of the diamonds on sale are derived from them. Also, since ours is a sales platform connected to a "Marketplace", it proposes the values of the international market based on free offer. We therefore indicate to our Users to use the prices published on the price lists, for reference purposes only. In reality, the actual prices required for the purchase of a diamond are those published in the "Inventory". They generally differ from those published in the "Price Reports".

The selling  price of  each  diamond  present  in our database
it is expressed in Euros. It includes the price of the diamond, transport (if the total purchase sum exceeds 1.500,00 Euros), and insurance. In case of a purchase of less than 1.500,00 Euros, an additional amount of 175.00 Euros will be added for each shipment. This applies to all sales in Europe.
The diamond is delivered "free and open", therefore not sealed in a blister, but simply wrapped in white "diamond" paper. This allows you to view with a x10 or x20 lens the microscopic laser signature engraved on the "girdle" and indicating the Certificate number. This confirms with cross-proof that the diamond is the one identifiable by the certificate that accompanies it. By comparing the technical data described therein, by entering them in the "Report Search" function on the official website of the Institute that certified it, its identity will be confirmed.

13) Kimberley Treaty
The Kimberley Process is an international certification agreement, legitimated by the will of the diamond-producing states to stop the trade in so-called "blood diamonds". The agreement originates with a conference held precisely in Kimberley, South Africa, in May 2000.
The congress, called to ensure that the profits from the sale of diamonds do not finance the purchase of weapons by rebel movements, aimed at dismissing legitimate governments, was preparatory to the historic resolution adopted by the UN in December of the same year, in support of the creation of a protocol that certifies the ethical origin of diamonds.
At the end of a fervent debate, between 4 and 5 November 2002, 37 States signed an agreement in Interlaken (ZAF) that establishes the requirements for controlling the production and trade of rough diamonds.
The Kimberley process (KP) is open to all countries that are able to implement the minimum participation requirements. Currently 54 members, representing 81 countries, with the European Union and its Member States, consider themselves as a single participant. KP members represent around 99.8% of global rough diamond production. In addition, the World Diamond Council, which represents the entire diamond trade chain, from the manufacturer to the retailer, and civil society organizations, participates in KP and has played an important role since its inception.
The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) therefore establishes a Community certification and control system for the import and export of rough diamonds; the regulation essentially imposes three requirements, so that the producing countries can consider themselves members and can certify that they sell "conflict free" rough diamonds:
• the proceeds from the sale of diamonds from that country are not intended to finance civil wars or the purchase of weapons by belligerent factions
• each exported diamond is accompanied by a certificate attesting to its ethical origin and compliance with the cornerstones of the Kimberley Process
• no diamonds are imported from, or exported to, a non-member country.
KP participating countries and World Diamond Council and civil society observers meet twice a year at intersessional and plenary meetings, as well as the working groups and commissions that meet on a regular basis. The implementation is monitored through annual reports as well as through cyclical exchanges and analysis of statistical data.

9) Indications on the delivery time

Upon confirmation of the Order, you will also receive information about the delivery time. For reasons of security and secrecy, it is not possible for us to monitor the shipment through modern tracking tools, as is the case in other cases. Before the arrival of the courier in the city, you will be contacted by phone / SMS / email, with the specification on the day and time of delivery. Specific requirements and customized agreements, regarding a precise and programmable delivery date and time, are not contemplated in our guarantee and protection policy of the Parties.
